The simplicity of the system is also a limitation, but a welcome one, since this limitation helps prevent scope creep of the quality system overall. The administration overhead of the system has therefore been low, and maintenance and updating of process descriptions is very straight forward. Equally important is the fact that the cost of implementing the quality system and obtaining the certificate has been controlled from the start.
